Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon
was already listed as doubtful on the injury report after being limited during the practice week due to a foot injury. Probably 99 percent of fantasy owners had already removed him from their lineups. Well, now we can make it an even 100. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Garcon will miss his second consecutive game today. He will not play versus the Bengals.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Redskns and Bengals are both missing multiple critical players on the defensive side of the ball, and I think this is going to be a high-scoring game. However, which Redskins WR do you really trust without Garcon? Leonard Hankerson
caught a long touchdown last week. Aldrick Robinson
had a nice game in Week 1 after Garcon went to the sidelines in the first half. And I'm still holding out hope for tight end Fred Davis
. But I can't really endorse any of them for your lineup. I think Hankerson has the most upside.
Through it all, Robert Griffin III will be just fine today.
