Bears running back Matt Forte
is making progress eight days after spraining his right ankle. But that ankle is not strong enough yet for him to play, so Michael Bush
will start Sunday versus the Rams while Forte watches in street clothes. Head coach Lovie Smith ruled Forte out on Friday
"No doubt we feel comfortable with Michael Bush," Smith said. "Michael's excited about playing, too. When you're a running back, you want to get reps. I can't think of a running back that's ever had too many carries. He's excited about it, as is Armando Allen, Kahlil Bell. All of those guys are ready to go."
Fantasy Analysis:
Yeah, don't worry about those other two guys. Bush should get plenty of touches in this game, and FFToolbox has properly ranked him 10th among RBs this week. Forte is probably at least one more game away from returning.
