Bengals running back Bernard Scott needs more time to let his surgically repaired hand heal, so he will not play Monday night against the Ravens. Scott missed basically all of training camp after he underwent a procedure that put screws in his hand. He just started practicing again a couple of days ago. His absence means BenJarvus Green-Ellis
will get all of the early down work. Brian Leonard will replace him at times.
Fantasy Analysis:
It's a really tough matchup for BJG-E, but this bumps his value up a little more just based on the extra opportunity. He should be a low-end RB2 in 12-team leagues.I won't like Green-Ellis as much when Scott returns as I believe Scott will take away a significant amount of carries, but for this week, Green-Ellis should get 17-20 touches. Of course he'll get the chances down by the goal line.
