Saints RB Darren Sproles back at practice

New Orleans Saints running back and PPR dynamo Darren Sproles @DarrenSproles (knee) is currently listed as questionable for his Week 1 game against the Washington Redskins, yet he returned to practice on Monday. According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Sproles is on track to play and the questionable tag is merely precautionary.

Fantasy Analysis:

Sproles is a must-start in PPR leagues and is a decent option in standard leagues. It will be interesting to see how the Saints utilize their backfield between Sproles, Mark Ingram @Mark_Ingram28, Pierre Thomas @Pierre_Thomas, and even Chris Ivory might see a touch or two. Washington has a good, but not yet great front seven which could lead to a lot of checkdowns and dump-offs to Sproles. This is a backfield that experiences a lot of injuries so monitor how the touches are split throughout the season. If, for example, Thomas gets injured, that would be a big boost to the other backs' production.

I think DSPPR (go ahead use it) is going to do something never before accomplished in the NFL ...100 recs/10 tds/500 yds rushing and 500 yds receiving...he has the best shot ever for a RB...just saying..

I'm sorry bro but that's just too over zealous. I had him last year in PPR and he saved my team, but watching the live score would give you a heart attack. He can go entire drives without being on the field then at the end of the half or game he explodes. With the younger rb's looking to get more touches I see a bit of a decline on the way.
