Here we are with another batch of waiver wire possibilities with rest of season potential, weekly must-start studs and one-hit wonders who can help you more than you might expect for your IDP needs.

HAND-SELECTED WEEKLY PICKS
The following players are my own personal choice to have an excellent game this week. Call it clairvoyance, but it's more about matchup and situational awareness. I will try to pick a player who isn't rostered in most leagues, so you can find someone who would otherwise be on your bench or waiver wire. I'll try to hold myself accountable by noting how the previous week's suggestion performed. Defensive statistics, on a per-game basis, are heavily dependent on individual matchups and can be even more "predictable" than offensive stats. A hit is when a player finishes among Top 20 scorers at his position. A miss is any other result.

SEASON-TO-DATE SCORECARD
DT: 2-3 | DE: 1-4 | LB: 3-2 | CB: 2-3 | S: 3-2

DEFENSIVE TACKLE
Last week's pick: Kendall Langford, St. Louis Rams – 2 tackles, 1 assist (miss)
Antonio Johnson, Tennessee Titans vs STL: The Rams have consistently allowed DL to score on a weekly basis. Johnson should find plenty of table scraps left behind by Jurrell Casey.

DEFENSIVE END
Last week's pick: Justin Smith, San Francisco 49ers – 1 tackle (big miss)
Cory Redding, Indianapolis Colts at HOU: Houston is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to DL and has especially struggled in their last two games, by giving up four sacks and 30 tackles to DL.

LINEBACKER
Last week's pick: LaMarr Woodley, Pittsburgh Steelers – nothing (huge miss)
London Fletcher, Washington Redskins vs SD: San Diego has done well to limit LB sacks; however, Fletcher should have a field day against this dinking and dunking RB-focused offense.

CORNERBACK
Last week's pick: Bradley Fletcher, Philadelphia Eagles – 8 tackles, 1 assist, 1 PD (hit)
Jabari Greer, New Orleans Saints at NYJ: Given Geno Smith's penchant for turnovers, the Jets have allowed a ton of fantasy points to DBs over their last three games. That includes four INTs, 13 PDs, a sack and 77 combined tackles.

SAFETY
Last week's pick: Bacarri Rambo, Washington Redskins – 8 tackles, 1 assist, 1 TFL (hit)
Brandion Ross, Oakland Raiders vs PHI: Charles Woodson would be the better choice, but he's likely already taken in your league. Settling for Ross isn't so bad either because of the matchup. Philly has allowed a league-leading 177 solo tackles to DBs.

IDP STUDS

These players have to be in your lineup every week, regardless of opponent! These lists are in no particular order. Each player is listed by position, which assumes you must start a player at that position.

DT: Dontari Poe, Jason Hatcher, Ndamukong Suh, Jurrell Casey, Kyle Williams, Michael Brockers, Marcell Dareus
DE: J.J. Watt, Carlos Dunlap, Osi Umenyiora, Muhammad Wilkerson, Calais Campbell, Lamarr Houston, Mario Williams, Robert Quinn, Chandler Jones, Greg Hardy
LB: Sean Lee, Paul Posluszny, Erin Henderson, Karlos Dansby, Kiko Alonso, Lavonte David, Vontaze Burfict, Daryl Washington, DeAndre Levy, Daryl Smith, Navarro Bowman, Chad Greenway, Derrick Johnson, Jerrell Freeman
CB: Brandon Flowers, Tim Jennings, Buster Skrine, Alterraun Verner, Tracy Porter, Josh Robinson, Deangelo Hall, Brandon Carr, Jason McCourty, Prince Amukamara, Charles Tillman
S: Tashaun Gipson, Barry Church, Earl Thomas, Major Wright, Tyrann Mathieu, T.J. Ward, Bernard Pollard, Reshad Jones, Duke Ihenacho, LaRon Landry, Michael Mitchell, Da'Norris Searcy

DEFENSIVE TACKLES
Note: Ranked outside Top 10 owned DTs on MyFantasyLeague

Chris Jones, New England Patriots
Once again, Jones remains a hot name on waivers. While he is filling in for Vince Wilfork, he is a must-add.

Corey Peters, Atlanta Falcons
Peters' slow and steady production is pushing him towards the Top 15 DTs in the league. It also helps that offensive lines must focus a lot of attention toward Osi Umenyiora.

DEFENSIVE ENDS
Note: Ranked outside Top 20 owned DEs on MyFantasyLeague

Fletcher Cox, Philadelphia Eagles
Cox flirted with fantasy relevance last year and a slow-start pushed him off rosters to being the season. He needs to keep logging multi-tackle games to stay on pace to be a Top 20 DE.

Adrian Clayborn, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Clayborn is right on the fringes of being a weekly starter. He has four or more tackles in two of his last three games. There just aren't enough sack opportunities for Tampa since teams shut down the passing game early.

LINEBACKERS
Note: Ranked outside Top 30 owned LBs on MyFantasyLeague

Bruce Irvin, Seattle Seahawks
Irvin hit the ground running as a starter last week. Tallying nine combined tackles and a sack. He's a must-add now that playing time has swung in his favor.

Dont'a Hightower, New England Patriots
With Jerod Mayo sidelined, Hightower takes over and gets to really show what he can do. In his last two contests, he has 21 combined tackles, one sack and one TFL.

CORNERBACKS
Note: Ranked outside Top 15 owned CBs on MyFantasyLeague

Adam Jones, Cincinnati Bengals
Leon Hall's injury has forced Jones into a heavier playing time. He's responded well thus far. In two of his last three games, he has at least five solos and a huge INT TD return boosted his numbers.

Dimitri Patterson, Miami Dolphins
Patterson has reassumed his starting role with the Dolphins. He has done well to fill the stat sheet too as evidenced by last week's three solos, one assist, one INT and two PDs.

SAFETIES
Note: Ranked outside Top 20 owned Ss on MyFantasyLeague

Bacarri Rambo, Washington Redskins
Given the Redskins' porous defense, a lot of plays slip to the second level. In his first week back as a starter, Rambo accumulated eight solos, one assist and one TFL.

Eric Reid, San Francisco 49ers
Reid has slowly become more active for the 49ers' secondary. Last week, he posted eight solos and one PD. He also has three INTs on the year.
