Kickers are people too, but should never ever be the main part of a fantasy playoff strategy. For the most part, get the guy you think plays the most (especially when said kicker is on the same team as some of your previously drafted players). Rankings and selected commentary below.

1) Steven Gostkowski, New England - top fantasy kicker during the regular season. Nuff said.

2) Matt Bryant, Atlanta

3) Matt Prater, Denver - Averaged 10.5 points over last four weeks in standard scoring leagues.

4) Mason Crosby, Green Bay

5) Shayne Graham, Houston

6) David Akers, San Francisco - Attempted the most kicks during the regular season, but Akers missed 13 of 42. Apparently that's enough to have the 49ers sign Billy Cundiff this week for a little competition.

7) Kai Forbath, Washington - Made his first 17 field goal attempts before missing in Week 17.

8) Justin Tucker, Baltimore

9) Steven Hauschka, Seattle

10) Blair Walsh, Minnesota - Finished second during the regular season in points, third in attempts.

11) Adam Vinatieri, Indianapolis

12) Josh Brown, Cincinnati
