Aside from a costly fumble, Antonio Brown put together an impressive fantasy performance, catching eight passes for 76 yards and a touchdown (Brown has scored in back-to-back games) last weekend. The Cincinnatti Bengals have been a solid defense this season, but in a must-win game for the Steelers, they will look to Brown early and often, especially since he had success the last time these two teams squared off, racking up a season-high 97 yards in their Week 7 meeting. Brown is peaking at the right time and is an excellent value pick for salary cap owners, valued at just $8.25 in Yahoo! Salary Cap leagues.
No player has been featured more in this Bargain Hunter column than Aaron Hernandez this season. I could go on and on about why I think Hernandez is an outstanding player from a fantasy standpoint, but I've done that plenty of times this season. Even if Rob Gronkowski comes back this weekend, it would be hard not to like Hernandez in a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars (are ranked 24th against the pass this season), coming off a game in which he was targeted 20 times and caught 10 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers.
Hernandez may be the most expensive option at the tight end position aside from Gronkowski, but I believe that he is more than worth it when you factor in all of the injuries and inconsistency at the position. For just $11.53 in Yahoo! Salary Cap leagues, salary cap owners can secure themselves the top option at the position and stability and production at a position that has fluctuated the entire season. Hernandez is worth the steep price in Week 16.
