We'd like to start off by saying in no way do we believe Randle should be anyone's first option as a flex or deep league starter. Randle's play from week to week has been too spuratic for fantasy owners to consider giving the LSU rookie a look. If you are a member of a keeper or dynasty league and Randle is still available then you may want to consider picking him up before the season ends. The Giants have been searching for a Marion Manningham replacement all season and with Hixon on the mend last week, Randle stepped in and showed us another flash of what we can expect from him in years to come. The final stat line may have only read 2 receptions on 2 targets for 26 yards, but Randle found the end zone on a 16-yard reception in the first quarter for his first touchdown of his young career. When you consider teammate Victor Cruz finished Sunday's game with just 3 receptions for 36 yards and a touchdown, Randle's stat line doesn't seem so bad. Next season it wouldn't surprise us to see Randle take over as the Giants' third receiver and in a couple of years becoming one of New York's starters.

If there's one thing you can count on when it comes to Peyton Manning, it is that he will get the ball to just about every receiver each game. This of course is both good and bad for fantasy owners. The bad news of course is that you can never count on your man getting 10 receptions week in and week out. On the other hand, you can count on him getting a few touches, so hope they're near the end zone or your man makes a nice move and breaks one open. Another thing you can count on with Peyton would be when the going gets tough he turns to teammates he can relay on. Brandon Stokley just so happens to be one receiver Manning knows he can count on in a tough situation, so there's no doubt he'll see some action this Sunday when the Bucs come to town. Tampa's pass defense has been one of the worst in the league all season and this weekend I don't expect their numbers to improve. As for Stokley, the 14 year veteran's performance the past few weeks has been steady. Over this span Brandon has 4 receptions in each game with 50-60 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Again, not great numbers but definately someone fantasy owners can use in deep leagues or as a flex start.

Favorite Team: New York J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets! One day they'll win another one. Lets just hope the drought isn't as long as for us Jets fans as it was for those Red Sox fans.

I've been a fantasy football nut for over 15 years. Whether defending my title, as is the case most years, or making my move to take back my championship trophy, I can't wait for each season to begin.
