Davone Bess is one of the league's best slot receivers, but is not a prized commodity in standard fantasy football leagues. Bess, who should be owned in all point-per-reception leagues, has been targeted at least six times in every game this season. He should be a major cog in the Dolphins' offensive gameplan this weekend against the Tennessee Titans defense, which has struggled mightily.
Tennessee is ranked 27th against the pass this season, which means that Bess (who is valued at $6.23 in Yahoo! Salary Cap leagues) should be in line for one of his most productive games of the season.
As a fantasy analyst, you have to try very hard not to get too attached to certain players, but one of the guys who will always have a soft spot in my heart is Randy Moss. The days where Moss could singlehandedly take over a football game are gone, but the game-breaking speed and big-play ability is still there in flashes, like he showed on a 47-yard touchdown against Arizona two weeks ago.
Facing a middle of the road Rams defense (which was torched by the Patriots and Tom Brady last time out), Moss is a nice lottery ticket option for fantasy and salary cap owners this weekend. Valued at just $6.25 in Yahoo! Salary Cap leagues, all Moss needs is one big play to account for a week's worth of production. I fully expect Moss to find the end zone this weekend, making him a bargain option for salary cap owners.
