Week 9: Start 'Em
WR Cecil Shorts, JAX
After being drafted in the 4th round of the 2011 NFL Draft, Cecil Shorts spent most of his rookie season on the bench, playing parts of 10 games only catching 2 passes for 30 yards and 1 touchdown. This season didn't start off so well for Shorts, but he has come on strong the last 2 games, catching 12 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown. After seven games this season, Shorts leads the Jags' lowly offense in receptions (20) yards (400) and receiving TDs (3). With rookie Justin Blackmon taking longer to get used to the NFL, Shorts has become the go to guy and playmaker for a Jags team sorely looking for one. TE Brandon Myers, NYG
While he isn't one of the more recognizable Tight Ends in the NFL, he has been one of the more consistent TEs so far this season. Going into week nine, Myers is 7th in the league in receptions with 31, and 6th in the league in receiving yards with 383 yards, putting him ahead of many bigger names Like Antonio Gates, Vernon Davis and others. This week Myers and the Raiders get a treat and face the Tampa Bay Bucs, who are giving up the 2nd most passing yard per game (309). Myers makes for a great start as a TE, as well a good start as a flex. If you are looking for either of those, make sure to get Myers in your line up.
