Week 1: Start 'Em

Though these players might normally be on your fantasy bench, they might be worth starting this week. This week's picks include Jay Cutler, Jonathan Dwyer, Toby Gerhart, Justin Blackmon, and Nate Washington.

It's possible that considering he's arguably fourth in the Lions' passing game hierarchy, Young's ADP (WR34) is a tad high. It's also possible the shifty target will have all his owners saying "I told you so" once Detroit gets done with St. Louis this week. Considering their ground game issues, expect the Lions to throw frequently - and against a blah secondary, at will. On the cusp of a WR2 rank, everyone's favorite sleeper receiver is at worst a nice flex play in PPR leagues. Detroit's potent passing attack should have a field day, so just hope Matthew Stafford looks Young's way.

Loved the former Golden Domer coming out of college, but his rookie season never really reved up, finishing with only 26 receptions. Loved the 6-foot-6, 259-pounder, once the Vikings cleared the path for a starting gig by moving on from Visanthe Shiancoe, though initially the John Carlson addition gave me pause. By draft day, Rudolph's status is that of an upside TE2. Considering the Vikings' lack of proven passing game options behind Percy Harvin and that their week 1 foe (Jacksonville) allowed the fourth most points to fantasy TEs last season, it is not hard to love Rudolph as an opening game starter (especially for nervous Jason Witten and Jermaine Gresham owners).
