What do Alex Smith, Tony Romo, Peyton Manning and Joe Flacco have to do to be ranked with top tier QBs? I'm not a believer in predicting a season after one regular season game, but all three of these guys made huge statements through there 2012 performance. After all, its 2012 we are concerned about and not the prediction from 2011.

I too always wonder why Flacco doesn't get more respect. It seems like he should be at least top 12... heck even top 15 would be higher than people rank him.

im stuck between michael vick vs ravens or philip rivers vs titans.. any suggestions here?

How is Mark Sanchez 30th? I understand being cautious about him just having one really good performance against a bad defense, but you have him ranked below some players who had pathetic weeks against weak opponents.

For num1vikefan 06 I would start Rivers I think Vick is gonna struggle with Ravens Defense. Rivers should be able to pick apart Titans Seconday. A Gates, Robert Mech...and Flody and company should be really tough for the Titans...Thnat waht I would do just saying. I think Rivers is back he looked really good. Vick is gonna be running for his life with ravens D. Just my opinion.

Should I play Andrew Luck (vs MN) over Roethlisberger (vs NYJ) at my 2nd QB position, as per these rankings?

Appreciate the chatter and interest around our rankings...For those talking up certain players like Flacco, Alex Smith, etc, the obvious point is if they go up, who goes down. We've bumped up Flacco into the high-end QB2 range, a rather exclusive season-long tier, so certainly not dismissing him. More on him here - http://www.fftoolbox.com/football/article.cfm?article_id=1136

Sanchez - Could he be in the 26-29 range, sure. But he's also playing the Steelers this week and I don't expect that defense to perform as poorly. Regardless, for the season we already moved him to 26...

Cutler at GB or Stafford at San Fran? I assume Megatron is going to play even though he's on the injury report.

Having trouble deciding - Eli Manning vs the Buccanneers or Tony Romo vs the Seahawks for this Sunday?

Posted by:
bcunningham 09/14/12 08:25 PM

Whalenx - Yeah, that's about a dead even call. Big Ben is helped with Revis out and since the game is home, I'd lean his way...

Bcunningham - Another even steven scenario, but with Eli at home, Romo away in a possible trap game and the Giants in almost must-win mode, Eli

...and love all the Matt Ryan love. Been talking him up for weeks. So far, sooooo good.

Good luck folks...

Any help here would be great. I'm in a 2QB league for the first time and am starting RG3 as my #1. I am deciding between Alex Smith & Josh Freeman this week. I'm leaning towards Smith...I think. If you're wondering, yes, my draft was pretty bad. Hopefully, RG3 plays out of his mind the rest of the way.

Bad Brady info- Brady actually played Arizona in 2004.
