Ovr Pick Franchise Selection Pos. Team Age Exp.
1 1.01 KFFL.com Arian Foster RB HOU 26 3
It's unwise to blindly pick last year's top performer as the No. 1 pick. But even with his new diet and Ben Tate's presence, Foster has the perfect offensive scheme in which to continue flourishing.
2 2.12 KFFL.com Wes Welker WR DEN 32 8
I'm not worried about how many mouths the Patriots have to feed, nor am I worried about him not getting a new contract. He'll still log close to 100 catches, making him a PPR stud standby.
3 3.01 KFFL.com Roddy White WR ATL 31 7
Not gonna lie that Julio Jones concerns me enough that I wavered a bit here, but White and Matt Ryan have one of the best rapports in the league, and White should remain among the target leaders. He's led the category among WRs in each of the last two seasons.
4 4.12 KFFL.com Isaac Redman RB PIT 28 3
Todd Haley won't be as pass-happy as many think. He adapts to his personnel, which this year will be headlined by a versatile toter who'll be a surprisingly effective PPR RB2.
5 5.01 KFFL.com Jeremy Maclin WR PHI 25 3
Hindered by a preseason ailment and a few late-season injuries in 2011, Maclin didn't have a fair chance to break out. Expect a 75-reception season or better with a full training camp and a clean bill of health in what should be a resurgent offense.
6 6.12 KFFL.com Willis McGahee RB DEN 31 9
A solid RB3 with Peyton Manning under center. Isn't a "wow" guy but has a great opportunity to repeat his 2011 surprise.
7 7.01 KFFL.com Tony Romo QB DAL 33 9
Not a bad Round 7 get: 26-plus TD tosses over his last four full seasons, and even if the run game becomes heavier, nothing tells me that streak will end in 2012.
8 8.12 KFFL.com DeAngelo Williams RB CAR 30 6
Grabbing a piece of this elite running game makes for decent RB depth. DAW will have plenty of flex-worthy weeks despite Cam Newton's TD vulturing.
9 9.01 KFFL.com Matt Schaub QB HOU 31 8
Decent value for a backup that, though his team is run-first, still has Andre Johnson to throw to. Also considered Jay Cutler, who went in the very next pick.
10 10.12 KFFL.com Isaiah Pead RB STL 23 R
Steven Jackson's getting long in the tooth, and Pead is great in open space that makes him an attractive PPR depth piece.
11 11.01 KFFL.com Danny Amendola WR NE 27 4
Despite St. Louis' mass of WR candidates, Amendola's slot job isn't in jeopardy. It's also why he'll be a steal in the late PPR rounds in an offense which should make Sam Bradford more comfortable than Josh McDaniels'.
12 12.12 KFFL.com Jon Baldwin WR KC 23 1
The Chiefs' offense will surprise many under Brian Daboll, who finally has a relatively competent QB to work with. The sophomore snarer has a full offseason to digest the system. His big-play ability adds late-rounds luster to his stock in best-ball games.
13 13.01 KFFL.com Dustin Keller TE MIA 28 4
For waiting this long on the position, I'm pleased to find a TE who's his QB's favorite catcher and now plays in a Tony Sparano system. Regardless of whether Mark Sanchez or Tim Tebow takes the helm, Keller should be looked to frequently.
14 14.12 KFFL.com Delone Carter RB IND 25 1
I think there's more to Carter than what we saw with that clusterbleep of an offense last year. He has a nice build for all-around work, and I'm not sold on Donald Brown.
15 15.01 KFFL.com Mario Manningham WR SF 26 4
Speaking of Manningham, this late, worth taking a shot on the Niners' passing game actually coming of age. Not all that confident it will, but Manningham is a streaky player capable of big weeks.
16 16.12 KFFL.com Ed Dickson TE BAL 25 2
The Ravens struggled in the red zone last year, and incorporating Dickson in that role more often to complement their iffy pass catchers could lead to some nice weeks as a TE alternative.
17 17.01 KFFL.com New England Defense Def NE
Had trouble choosing between them and a few others. What won it for NE in the end was their reloaded draft talent (Chandler Jones should aid the pass rush), the hopeful improvement of their secondary, and their weak division.
18 18.12 KFFL.com San Diego Defense Def SD
Health, Jarret Johnson, Melvin Ingram and an internal promotion to DC should help this underrated unit, despite their division getting a little tougher this year.
19 19.01 KFFL.com Matt Cassel QB MIN 31 7
As I mentioned when I took Jonathan Baldwin before, I think this downfield offense will surprise people. Cassel is a better QB than what Brian Daboll has had to work with previously.
20 20.12 KFFL.com Connor Barth PK TB 27 4
Feel the excitement.
