| Ovr | Pick | Franchise | Selection | Pos. | Team | Age | Exp. |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1.05 | DraftCalc.com | Calvin Johnson | WR | DET | 27 | 5 |
| After the big three, Foster, McCoy and Rice, the only two players I consider are Aaron Rodgers and Calvin Johnson. I think with a top 4-5 overall pick, it's important to land a player that can finish No. 1 at his position. You can't go wrong with either Rodgers or Calvin with that No. 4 or 5 slot this year. | |||||||
| 2 | 2.08 | DraftCalc.com | DeMarco Murray | RB | DAL | 25 | 1 |
| DeMarco Murray has top 12-14 overall upside, so even though he still feels a bit unproven, this isn't exactly a reach and it feels somewhat low-risk/high-reward. Calvin Johnson and DeMarco Murray is a fine start given we went WR with our first-round pick. | |||||||
| 3 | 3.05 | DraftCalc.com | Julio Jones | WR | ATL | 24 | 1 |
| FFToday just said "Unfortunately Jennings got nabbed"... Well, unfortunately Green just got nabbed, as Green was was my top-ranked player left at that point. Julio Jones is a nice second prize, though, as he is truly capable of top 5 fantasy WR numbers in 2012. A.J. Green and Julio Jones are special - Both receivers are going to explode this season and I feel that both receivers will be top 8-12 overall picks heading into all leagues and formats next year. | |||||||
| 4 | 4.08 | DraftCalc.com | Michael Vick | QB | PHI | 32 | 11 |
| We predict a bounce-back season out of Vick in 2012. Drafting Vick in the 4th and 5th round is low-risk/high-reward. He has top 5QB upside, and at this value, there just is really no risk. | |||||||
| 5 | 5.05 | DraftCalc.com | C.J. Spiller | RB | BUF | 25 | 2 |
| We have high hopes for Spiller in 2012. He is a very sneaky low-end RB2 heading into 2012. | |||||||
| 6 | 6.08 | DraftCalc.com | Jermichael Finley | TE | GB | 26 | 4 |
| We expect Finley to have that breakout season he was meant to have last year. He truly is as talented as Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski... And he has as good a QB as both. As long as he is healthy, everything is pointing to Finley exploding in 2012. | |||||||
| 7 | 7.05 | DraftCalc.com | Denarius Moore | WR | OAK | 24 | 1 |
| Moore has top 10-15 WR upside. He is no lock to produce, which is why he is a sleeper... but as a WR3, he is low risk/high reward! | |||||||
| 8 | 8.08 | DraftCalc.com | Mark Ingram | RB | NO | 23 | 1 |
| Ingram is no lock to produce in 2012, and he may not even get starter carries right away... but we like this kid and talent should shine through! By mid-season, Ingram could be a very decent fantasy RB2, or at least a great flex option. | |||||||
| 9 | 9.05 | DraftCalc.com | Santonio Holmes | WR | NYJ | 29 | 6 |
| Holmes isn't exactly a spring chicken, but I think he is more than capable of extremely outperforming this draft value. | |||||||
| 10 | 10.08 | DraftCalc.com | San Fran Defense | Def | SF | ||
| 11 | 11.05 | DraftCalc.com | Sam Bradford | QB | STL | 25 | 2 |
