Week 11: Box Score Bandit

Week 10 won't be remembered for its scoring as two of the top three league scoring leaders were kickers. It will be remembered, however, for its upsets as the Rams finally got a win thanks to reviving their Greatest Show on Turf offense.

Some of fantasy's best quarterbacks kept on rolling with Brett Favre and Tony Romo leading the way. But unfortunately, that thump you heard was the sound of owners jumping off the Adrian Peterson bandwagon as the stud rookie, who had a previous injury history, suffered a knee sprain.

Don’t have time to scour the box scores? No need to worry, the Bandit is here every week to break down all of the games for owners - fantasy style. Check out the latest quick hits on the studs, bench plays, sleepers, and injuries from the week that was.

50-Yard Line Entertainment...

Pittsburgh Thwarts Cleveland Upset, 31-28
Fantasy Stud: QB-Ben Roethlisberger (PIT) showed a lot of resilience, bringing the team back and finishing with 278 passing yards, 49 rushing yards, and 3 TDs (2 pass, 1 rush).
Bench Play: RB-Jamal Lewis (CLE) was predictably stuffed as he could only muster 35 yards.
Sleeper: WR-Nate Washington (PIT) has been getting more looks in the offense. This week it translated into 4 catches for 56 yards.

Eagles Scoot Past Redskins, 33-25
Fantasy Stud: RB-Brian Westbrook (PHI) is having a tremendous season. He totaled 183 yards, scored 3 TDs, and added 5 catches to his stat line.
Bench Play: TE-Chris Cooley (WAS) was unable to put up big numbers in this high-scoring affair, grabbing 5 passes for just 33 yards.
Sleeper: WR-James Trash (WAS) became the first Redskin WR to catch a TD this season. In fact, he caught 2 as he wound up with 5 receptions for 85 yards.
Injuries: Trash's success may be short-lived as he suffered an ankle injury.

Dallas Bombs Away on NY Giants, 31-20
Fantasy Stud: WR-Terrell Owens (DAL) was brilliant again, blowing open the game in the 2nd half with 2 TDs en route to totaling 6 receptions and 125 yards.
Bench Play: RB-Marion Barber (DAL) is having trouble putting up fantasy worthy numbers in this RBBC. He only had 34 rushing yards with no scores.
Sleeper: RB-Brandon Jacobs (NYG) is a solid RB that owners could target in a reasonable trade. He carries some injury risk, but his 105 total yards show that he can contribute every week.

...Shocking End Zone Celebrations…

St. Louis Gets First Win, Beats New Orleans, 37-29
Fantasy Stud: QB-Marc Bulger (STL) gave his owners a ray of hope that he can produce from here on out. He tossed 2 TDs and 302 yards.
Bench Play: RB-Reggie Bush (NO) is a fantasy fraud in non-PPR leagues. His 17 yards rushing on 7 carries were saved by his TD and 2-point conversion.
Sleeper: WR-Issac Bruce (STL) is healthy again and it showed as he finished with 4 receptions, 62 yards, and 1 TD.

Falcons Surprise Inept Panthers, 20-13
Fantasy Stud: RB-Warrick Dunn (ATL) is coming on strong for owners that stuck with him. This week he gained 140 total yards and found the end zone once.
Bench Play: RB-DeShaun Foster (CAR) is not much of a fantasy producer. He was limited to 61 total yards in this one.
Sleeper: WR-Roddy White (ATL) continues to be the best fantasy option among Atlanta's WRs. He grabbed 6 balls for 57 yards.

Jacksonville Runs Tennessee Out of Town, 28-13
Fantasy Stud: RB-Maurice Jones-Drew (JAC) was huge in this one, tallying 129 total yards, scoring 1 TD, and catching 3 passes.
Bench Play: RB-LenDale White (TEN) was stonewalled by the Jags as his 8 carries netted just 12 yards.
Sleeper: WR-Justin Gage (TEN) led all WRs with 7 receptions, 90 yards, and 1 TD.
Injuries: White left the game with a knee injury.
